The housekeeping department left an open safety pin sticking out of the dust ruffle which injured my son.
The housekeeping staff left a open safety pin sticking out of the dust ruffle on the bed. My son cut himself. When we told the manager, he did not even appologize or try to help us in any way. The elevators were old and extremely small and out of date.

Location. It was clean.
Restaurant facilities were awful. Kitchen far away. One waitress. Food was awful.
I was pleased with the hotel until I had to eat at the restaurant. Seriously understaffed with a long walk for the one waitress to the kitchen. Food took ages to come and was really bad when it did - fish in fatty batter not cooked on the inside.

Location.
The beds did not have fitted sheets, so the flat sheet kept moving and exposing the mattress while we slept.
Great location! Hotel was clean but outdated. Good if you do not plan to spend a lot of time in the room. The bedding was old. There were not fitted sheets on the bed; therefore, when you sat or laid on the bed, the flat sheet that was used in place of a fitted sheet moved and exposed the mattress. We woke up and found ourselves sleeping directly on the mattress, which was unpleasant. read more

The older nostalgic feeling.
The fact that the hotel staff could barely speak english.
