Excellent location.
Cleanliness good but not excellent.
Fantastic location right near Central Park and Museum of Natural History. They upgraded us to a 2 room suite at no extra charge. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Concierge service was great -- very helpful and courteous; location was very good; convenient to subway.
Elevators were a problem; no complimentary breakfast or coffee.
Overall, we were pleased with the hotel. The staff was pleasant. The room was comfortable (we were given an upgrade at no extra charge). The bathroom was a little crowded, but adequate. Free coffee would have been nice. There is no parking at the hotel, but they did have an arrangement with the Museum of Natural History across the street. The only real problem had to do with the elevators. When we arrived, one was out of service and it had not been repaired by the time we checked out. Additionally, the other elevator was out of service briefly on the day we checked out. There was a service elevator available at that time. read more

It was clean and located next to central park which was a bonus.
Most of the nick attractions required either subway or taxi rides.
I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The room was clean and decorated nicely. Felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room.
The man at the front desk was cold. Had to wait a long time for elevators.
Great location for central park and the museum of Natural history. Parking for the hotel is at the museum. The hotel has an older, elegant "old Manhattan" feel to it. Slow moving and busy elevators, the rooms were a little noisy (ours was next to the elevator). The desk clerk was cold and didn't seem to want to budge about changing the room until I got a little upset.

Outstanding location and great value.
Carpets older and dirty.
Great price/value in upper West Side of NYC. Location can't be beat, convenient to Central Park, subway lines, great restaurants nearby. Good parking for $26 a day in the American Museum of Natural History across the street.

Small room but excellent service. Great location. Friendly staff. A little expensive but not bad for the area. Loved it!
Small room.
I had a great time. From the bellman to the front desk staff, they would always be prompt to answer questions and help with accommodation I never had to open the door, there was always someone to do it for us. Being few feet from Central Park and some of the best restaurants in NYC if defiantly a perk. Also the museum of natural history is right in front of the hotel, could not ask for more. Subway and bus where easily accessible from the hotel. I never had to use a taxi. read more

Great location. Clean and beautiful.
In hotel breakfast option was too expensive.
I would recommend this hotel. It was right across the street from the Natural History Museum and the neighborhood was full of great restaurants. The subway was at the end of the block and did not even require a street crossing. Staff was helpful with any requests and recommendations.
