Friendly staff, great breakfast.
Would not do a money exchange,as they stated their exchange was not current.
I was pleasantly surprised by curteous and helpful staff. The buffet breakfast was first class. I was dissapointed that I was unable to do a money exchange as I needed the Euros to pay for a taxi to the airport. The front desk personal told me to cross the street catch the local bus to the main train station. From there it was a transfer to another direct bus to the sirport. All this for 2.30 Euros This worked fine. read more

Great location, easy to reach via transit,
clean & friendly.
Their draft beer is not so good compared to other German draft.
This location is easy to find close to a lot of stuff to do in Berlin, it is a 10 minute walk from checkpoint Charlie, Postdammer Platz many restaurants and shops. Very friendly & helpful staff. Excellent breakfast included. Quiet

Nice hotel, good value for price, central location in easy walking distance from Potsdamer Platz.
Individual travelers should be ready to face throngs of travelers traveling together, especially at breakfast. The hotel served
only breakfast.
This hotel provided very good value for the money. Courteous staff. Free room TV options
included CNN and BBC. Comfortable, not luxurious, rooms. Fine free extended continental breakfast. Tour buses available at nearby Potsdamer Platz.

Staff was friendly and accommodated American/English speaking travelers very well.
The hotel is in a relatively good location, but it is still a bit of a walk for some people to the tourist attractions.
After staying in a local hotel, with this being my first trip to Europe and not knowing what to expect, this hotel was a real gem. Also I was delighted to find that there was a relatively spacious bathroom within the room. The room had everything that we could have hoped for, since it had television, coffee, and access to an ice machine. The complimentary breakfast buffet was wonderful considering the fact that purchasing breakfast outside of the hotel could have proven to be quite costly. The staff at the hotel was incredibly courteous and helpful. Other people have complained about the location of the hotel relative to tourist attractions, etc. I would argue that it is a nice walk to these attractions or the nearest Subway station, but I can see how it could be more difficult for older individuals or people with small children to easily access these places from the hotel. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay there if I travel to Berlin again in the future. read more
