Extended Stay America Great Falls - Missouri River

I stayed at 6 different hotel on vacation and the extended stay is the only one that charged for the Internet usage. I didn't pay it.

The hotel was somewhat outdated for not being a really old hotel. The rooms weren't exactly to my expectation of cleanliness.

I walked in the hotel and all I could smell was cigarettes and stuffy. The staff was pleasant. They sprayed air freshener in the room which temporarily covered up the smell. We left the windows open 24/7. We sat on the end of the squeaky bed and the head of the bed flew up. It was good for comic relief. The elevator smells like cigarettes, but the stairwell smells far worse.

The hotel is really a 1 star. The first 2 rooms we were given were not cleaned and smoking rooms. I had called the hotel to request a non-smoking room with 2 beds. The room we ended up with had only 1 bed and we ended up sleeping on the floor with air mattresses. The hotel did not supply shampoo or anything. Low budget, low, low frills, would not stay there again.

Overall, for the price, we reserved our complaints, but the fact that the rooms would only be cleaned once a week including changing of towels, etc (unless you were a new guest) gave us some concern about good hygiene levels.

Everything was good.

Rooms were nice with all the kitchen conveniences.

Great location, friendly and accommodating staff. Clean rooms with nice kitchenettes with service for two. Beds were comfortable and rooms including washroom were spacious. Loved that the windows opened to let in fresh air and we didn't have to used the room air conditioning.
