Dirty room carpet, dirty pool floor, hot tub was not functional, poor breakfast buffet.

There is absolutely nothing about this hotel I would recommend. While staff was friendly, the pool area was dirty, hot tub not functional; breakfast buffet consisted of a few rolls and cereal. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything going on in the hallway and adjacent rooms. Finally, the electronic door keys functioned only after trying to open the door a dozen times due to dirty locking mechanisms. read more

Untrained staff.

The room and facility is just fine. The young staff is not very accommodating - no toilet paper upon arrival - someone was en route to the store to get it. No coffee when we arrived for breakfast one morning, two bagels had evidence of mold. Staff should be on top of such things, act friendly even if you can't do anything about the problem!

The location is convenient.
Door locks hard to use.

In general, the quality of service has deteriorated since the hotel was taken over by Extended Stay. The Aspen had more user friendly services and the rooms were nicer.

Walking distance to airport, but not noisy.

After a shaky start up, this hotel is becoming one of my favorites to stay in Juneau when I'm on my through to somewhere else.

Convenient to the airport.
Front desk doesn't always have correct information about shuttle.

Very close to the airport. The hotel has a good shuttle service that you just need to arrange a short time in advance. The hotel is clean and the rooms comfortable.
