Having been security staff for 3 years at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel (then a 5 star rated hotel) I know what goes into hotel operations. The rooms were nearly immaculate, the staff (all the staff!) were friendly, professional, and more than anxious to assist any guest at any hour of the day. I have paid more than 3x the rate and gotten less than half the experience. If this were next door to the Disneyland resort it would be heaven but you couldn't afford it! It actually seems to rival the Disneyland staff in service and this is coming from a DL addict! read more

The layout.

This is the strangest hotel I've ever stayed at. When you walk into the lobby, it feels like the entrance is a service entrance. In stead of facing the front desk, the front desk is actually behind you when you walk in. Then you access the rooms through another tiny door out backside the hotel by the pool that none will ever use because it's surrounded by parking lot. This is a very nice place to stay. Additionally, I am a work out addict and there is a

It was clean, quiet, had coffee in room with microwave, and fridge, served continental breakfast. This hotel was much more than a 1 star hotel.
Did not have its own restaurant, small room no table just desk.

The hotel is clean, quiet, and has some amenities. The staff is friendly and efficient.

At least the manager made a compromise.
I requested and they promised two adjacent rooms with two queen beds and they didn't do it.

They did not inform us before hand they did not intend to keep it. They made no effort to rectify except to supply a roller way bed but barely enough room to fit it in.

Very nice hotel and comfortable.
The location was kind of hidden but still manageable to locate.

Very nice and clean hotel. Friendly and courteous staff. Room service was really good and the hotel is very well maintained. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and relatives and would definitely employ its services again.

Readily made accommodations for handicapped guests. Had a refrigerator.
Room was cramped.

Guest services were friendly, helpful, and accommodating in every way. For the rate I was able to get, I was extremely happy with this hotel. I would definitely stay there again.
