Our award winning hotel, built in 2002, is located within 5 miles of John Deere, Tones, and Albaugh, Inc. There are two golf courses, Briarwood and Otter Creek, located just down the road. Iowa State University and the Des Moines International Airport are both just minutes away. We're also a short drive to such attractions as Prairie Meadows, Adventureland, and the Iowa Events Center and Wells Fargo Center in Downtown Des Moines. Take in an Iowa Cubs baseball game at Principal Park. The Science Center of Iowa and the Botanical Center are two other popular attractions located in Des Moines, the Capital of Iowa. Room wasn't as good as expected.

Pleasant staff. Room was so-so. Fridge buzzed all night. Continental breakfast was OK, but disorganized. There were hotel guests in there without shoes on and that was allowed.

The decor was bright and uplifting.
The shower drain was very, very slow.

It is bright, colorful, and comfortable. The front desk staff was a little young and the woman who checked us in seemed annoyed when I asked her questions such as how to find our room, when is breakfast, etc. The bed was comfortable but the air conditioning blew right into the bed, which made it too cold.

It had two TV's with a couch, microwave and fridge.
No dough nuts for breakfast, but it did have waffles.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. We broke a decorative vase, but no charge was levied. The room was very large and clean. Everyone was very friendly. No smoking in the entire hotel.
