Fresh, inviting and newly redone, location doesn't have to mean everything at the Fairfield Inn Burlington. In our case, however, it means a lot. Conveniently visit the campus or your kids at the University of Vermont, Champlain College and St. Michael's College. We are only five miles from Burlington and our proximity (about 30 minutes) to the ski resorts inspired us to offer guests discount lift tickets for Smugglers Notch and Stowe Mountain. Here in town, you can shop 'til you drop at the Maple Tree Place, University Mall and Church Street Market. Discover cozy cafes and romantic restaurants on Church Street, or stick to the old favorites right by the hotel, including Longhorn Steakhouse, Three Tomatoes, and Mexicali Mexican Grill. Clean and comfortable, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Very small breakfast area, really old TV.

The hotel was clean and comfortable with good breakfast in the morning. The only complaint I had was with the TV, it was a dinosaur, really grainy picture, no AV input that we could use to plug in the video games.

We thought that the hotel has heated indoor pool which wasn't the case with this Marriott. The site is misleading.

Staff were friendly and very helpful, attentive.
Room design poor for family travel. Almost no surface space at sink or bath, or place for luggage but floor.

Great value, great location, perfect for a short stay where the hotel is not the destination. Helpful, accomodating, attentive staff.

Airport shuttle bus is not guaranteed. Happened to not be running the morning we needed it due to Thanksgiving day holiday.

The complete breakfast was great for the kids. The location close to a variety of restaurants was also helpful.
It looked the part of a budget motel -- especially poor signage and a substandard elevator.

Overall, this was truly an economy hotel -- no frills, no surprises, nothing beyond (or below) expectation.

Really good value, free rollaway.
Bathroom next to elevator made the hallway smell a little.

The location was very convenient, right off the highway and next to shopping. It is an excellent value; clean rooms, decent service.
