Fairfield Inn Cedar Rapids

The overall design of the hotel was not good because there were no internal hallways. When I checked in the hotel staff was very pushy about getting my personal information (phone number, etc) and I felt it was rude. She stated repeatedly that they needed my phone number in case I left something behind which is just ridiculous. The common areas were not in great shape and the noise level was high. Nice overall. Rooms are well decorated and comfortable. Plenty of pillows, which are important to me. My main complaint would be the pool. The two days I was there, the pool had bird feathers, leaves, and bugs floating on the top. I don't believe it was cleaned recently. I still used the pool. But, it would have been nice if it was cleaner.

Very good. I would stay there again.

We normally get this place on a Cedar Rapids, Iowa hotel and its always fabulous.

I was surprised that this hotel was rated 2 stars. I wasn't sure what I was going to be walking into but I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby was very clean, the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast had a lot to choose from. The rooms were up to date and very clean. We even received a phone call from the front desk when we first got into our room, asking if the room was up to our standards. read more

Overall very nice, pleasant staff, very clean and classy room. Very good price!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room and bathroom were very clean and tidy, the A/C worked great, it had good lighting and plenty of outlets for chargers/computer. I would gladly stay here in the future.

This is an old hotel, but has been recently renovated. Once you get past the building's obvious age, the rooms were nice enough and very clean.

We had a short stay, but it was comfortable nun the less.
