Fairfield Inn Gainesville

It was not terrible nor was it really nice. I suppose the price reflects the accommodations. Small room, musty smelling and heat was set on 80 degrees when we arrived. Sheets/bed were clean but not that comfortable. Hair dryer cord was so short, I had to kneel to use it. People above us were stomping loudly really late at night. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel was clean for the most part. It's great for the business travler.

While the staff was helpful, the room smelled terrible upon arriving.

They were very helpful and pleasant to work with. They opened up the breakfast bar earlier than normal for the kids had to be at a sporting event early in the morning. Very helpful.

There has only been 1 time out of about 200 stays at a hotel were I felt clean and neat enough to go barefoot. Unfortunately, this hotel was not one of them. However, the staff was excellent!! Friendly and helpful.

The hotel is clean and convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a very nice continental breakfast with some hot foods too. The hotel is right next to interstate 75 and you can hear traffic.

When we checked in the room had a clogged toilet but the motel easily changed our rooms. when checking out my wife said that the clerk was slightly rude.

First time ever staying at a court yard Marriott I didn't know they had doors exposed to the outside. I lucked out and had a 3rd room floor and wasn't facing the busy highway. Didn't feel safe though traveling with 3 young children. Wish the hotel was in a more secure location. Seemed to attract some seedy characters (I kept a close eye on my kids in the pool).
