The staff was excellent - went beyond expectations, very nice hotel.

The hotel was in a good location for Sioux City - close to malls and restaurants. The staff was excellent, helped my mother who had a diabetic reaction in the middle of the night. Just an excellent experience all around.

We liked that it was very close to a lot of restaurants and the mall.
I did not like that there was no smoking rooms at all.

I thought that it was pretty decent. It was not in the least bit romantic.

Update bed linens from a year ago.
The bed was very soft.

This hotel is a standard Fairfield. The continental breakfast was good compared to other hotels continental breakfast. A flyer on the pillow said the linens and bed are new and upgraded. The linens were better then a year ago but the bed was really soft.

Such a great breakfast buffet! So many choices!
Did not have Dr. Pepper in the vending machine

Excellent facilities, clean and well-kept. Friendly staff, and I loved the breakfast food. They had an indoor pool/hot tub which we didn't use, but it looked great and was never crowded when we went by. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This can be a nice place to stay, it just happened to be under construction when I was there and that was a disappointment.
