It was big, elegant and clean, the beds were wonderful, staff very friendly.
Nothing.
The hotel was everything that we expected and a little more. It was expensive but you get what you pay for. The staff is well trained and helpful in all ways.

The hotel's decor was beautiful and it's facilities very well maintained. Friendly staff and this hotel was central to all the tourist attractions our family was interested in visiting. We enjoyed our stay greatly.

Excellent location and the old charm.
All was excellent.
These old Chateau hotels kept their charm of the old days.

It was in the middle of the Canada Day action and the hotel permitted us to access the roof for the fireworks.
Bathtub was a bit small for my husband.
The hotel staff was excellent and treated us in a very pleasant and respectful manner. We were particularly impressed with the concierge at the front door. They were young and very endearing and warm. Very well done!

It had an exit door.
Very noisy room.
Room 252 at the Fairmont could possibly be the worst hotel room in the city. The radiator sounded like an airplane taking off. And one of the windows would not close, leaving all of the sounds of the Very busy street below to permeate the room and your skull (making it impossible to sleep). Having been sleepless on Friday night, I was exhausted on Saturday, a day which I should have enjoyed in this beautiful city. The elevator in the hotel garage was out of order, so all luggage had to be hand carried up the stairs upon check-out. The waitress staff in the tea-room was extraordinarily rude, bringing only one menu over for our group of three, and then not returning to take our lunch order for over 15 minutes. Ultimately we left and ate lunch at other place. I have stayed at 7 other Fairmont's, and highly enjoyed each stay. In my whole life, this was the worst single hotel stay of all. read more
