Aided by Catie, the hotel's "live-in Labrador" mascot, staffers make guests "feel like royalty" at this "true grande dame [decorated] with gilt plasterwork and crystal" on Copley Square; fussbudgets fume she's looking "tired" – in particular, the "rooms need updates", unless you go for the "wonderful Gold floor" – but there's a "terrific lobby", the Oak Bar serves the "best martinis in town" and it's in a "prime location", especially "in April, when the Boston Marathon ends near the front door."

The location was fab!

The Fairmont Copley was an excellent hotel. It was beautiful, and the rooms were in tip-top shape. They were modern and very comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect!

Dirty decomposing bathroom, no room amenities.

Beautiful lobby, public spaces and restaurant. Tiny room, minuscule closet, dirty toilet, peeling/mildewed grout in tub, broken shower curtain, no pad and paper and $8 bottle of Evian.

Great location, luxurious toiletries, really comfy bed.
Very expensive: internet, room service etc.

The Fairmont was grand and stately in all of the right places. The entrance, lobby and Oak Bar. The room was nice enough but needed some attention: broken curtains and door knob. The shower was in an old tub. But, the touches were nice. Miller Harris toiletries, high count sheets and comforters made the room very comfortable. BUT, any extras were extremely expensive. Internet 2 bucks a minute in the lobby. Seriously! I spent 30 bucks writing a note to my son's teacher. Next time I will drag my laptop. Not sure of those prices. I like to have the ability to make tea or coffee in my room and that is not an option. Also, it is a dog friendly hotel. And while I like dogs it seemed strange to me that big golden retrievers and labs were checking in. The room next to us had two big dogs that gave a warning bark any time someone walked by. I am not crazy about that. I like to take my dog on vacation but not to The Fairmont in Copley Square. I feel like it's supposed to be a little more exclusive, if that makes any sense. read more

Prices, no real gym or sauna, need the sauna.

Great location, very over priced when you have to pay for parking. The gym is a very small guest room with a few weights and tread mill. No sauna or steam room. The room was small, but clean and comfortable.

With Priceline price, it's one of the kind experience.
Room is very small.
