The mattress.
No coffee or continental breakfast.

Horrible for the price I paid. Staff was very unfriendly, and parking was crazy expensive. Rooms were OK, but no refrigerator. Also no coffee or continental breakfast. Only a $22 buffet. Didn't feel any 4 star quality.

Well kept, clean, professional and courteous staff.
$27 mandatory valet parking per day, $100 incidental hold, $14 internet.

Nice hotel for what I paid via Priceline. As most all nicer hotels do now, $27 mandatory valet is crazy. Park across the street between the bank and the strip mall - it is legal and free. No internet unless you want to pay $13.95 a day. They also hit you with $100 per day incidentals hold.

Luxury with great service at a great price and free hybrid parking!

In classic Fairmont style you have a hotel that is high quality with highly personable service and cleanliness that is rarely matched by the others! The free valet parking for hybrid vehicles is a major advantage at $28/day!

The bed was great.
This hotel is not in Newport beach! They are kidding themselves and you with that distinction.

The hotel was very nice and everything was fine but I selected the cities I wanted to stay in carefully and this was not in the city of Newport beach as stated but rather in the city or Irvine. That was a huge disappointment and I felt cheated.

Well everything seemed to be well organized, and the customer service was excellent.
I did not like the parking situation. It is valet parking only, and it took too long to get our car even when we called ahead.

We found the Fairmont to me very relaxing, customer friendly.
