Fredericksburg Travelodge

The overall stay was good. We only stayed 1 night but the room was clean and the bathroom was updated (new tub and toilet). I know that it is located off of a busy roadway but the noise of the traffic was ridiculous I don't know if the seal around the door needs to be fixed or what but I have a 2 1/2 year old and it was loud.

When I needed to change my reservation from a smoking to a non-smoking room, the hotel complied, but the person I talked to was unfriendly about making the change. Also, the maid was almost demanding about doing something, anything, for the room, knocking on my door several times each morning and also opening it as far as she could with the privacy lever/latch engaged, even though I said I did not need anything. The quality of the place was what I expected for the price, but the desk clerk could have been more personable, and the maid less insistent.

Clean hotel and excellent staff.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was helpful. My stay was a pleasant one.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms were very clean; there was cable and even a mini-fridge. The staff was pleasant and efficient. I expected nothing but coffee and donuts for continental breakfast, but they had a wide selection including bagels with cream cheese, toast with jelly, cereal with milk, oatmeal, hot tea, coffee, milk, juice.

This Travelodge was clean and had a friendly staff. The staff was very accommodating when I told them I needed a ground floor room. Excellent stay.

I enjoyed my stay. Everyone was very friendly and very accommodating. Even with the distance away from my family, I would more than likely stay there next year. I would have liked to have seen muffins on the continental breakfast.

This hotel shouldn't even be rated a 1 star. The outdoor pool was half filled in with dirt, and the mosquitoes from the standing water in it almost carried you away with them. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, and that is saying a lot!
