In the islands, women wear flower leis and crowns the same way others wear jewels. The water around our Lotus overwater bungalows is up to three metres (10 feet) deep, ideal for swimming. In keeping with the natural landscape, none of our buildings rise higher than the grand coconut palms. A walking path meanders past the beach, the Aquatica Dive Center, the tennis courts and the pools. You're welcome to take part in feeding the fish and rays in the resort's Lagoonarium every morning. A carved tiki sculpture greets you in true Polynesian spirit at the resort entrance. Overwater Bungalows Guest Room Our guests appreciate having a separate shower and an extra roomy tub. Seventeen overwater bungalows were built around our own little motu, or islet. The Jacuzzi-style bath in our Panoramic rooms and Lagoon bungalows is an inviting place to relax. The Panoramic Suite-Antares is 74 square metres (797 square feet) of pure Polynesian luxury. A window between the bedroom and bath in our Panoramic room allows a view of the ocean from either room. Roederer and Cheval Blanc are two of the award-winning French wines served in Le Lotus Restaurant. One of our dinner shows recalls the events of the famous 1788 mutiny on the Bounty in French Polynesia. The Tiare Restaurant serves a fantastic barbecue dinner buffet before the Tahitian dance show. Evenings at Le Lotus Restaurant are perfect for watching the sun set behind our sister island of Moorea. Gourmet Cuisine at the Lotus Restaurant Lotus Pool View The resort's function rooms accommodate intimate gatherings of 10 to grand galas of 1,000 or more. Swimming across the sand-bottomed infinity pool is the coolest way to reach the bar in Le Lotus. We can create memorable events indoors or on the motu island, in the Lotus pool area or on the beach. Map English Our Ocean View rooms have spacious terraces with a view of the lagoon to the reef and the ocean beyond. Guestroom furnishings capture the elegance and comfort of colonial Polynesia. Two secluded buildings house our largest rooms, which measure 38 square metres (414 square feet). Each morning, a decorated outrigger canoe delivers breakfast to our overwater bungalows. The resort's Boutique Gift Shop sells local handicrafts and gifts as well as handy travel essentials. Provided changing rooms for people with late flights.

We stayed in the over the water bungalows. It was the most romantic experience ever! There was plenty to do with 3 pools, snorkel tours and kayaks. Easy ways to access downtown and close to the airport.
