Georgian Terrace Hotel

Great if going to the Fox Theater which is across the street. No onsite availability of water, sodas or snacks. Limited menu selection in the restaurant. Temperature was cold on the suite. I could not sleep in the bedroom. Also the windows were unlocked which I detected when I checked them. That was scary because I was in the second floor with roof access. It is a beautiful old landmark. But it's a bit thread-bare. You should expect to get a room the size of a walk-in closet. For my purposes on this trip that was fine, but just be aware of that if you are bringing more than yourself, you won't have the floor space to do more than turnaround. One of Atlanta's Grand Dames has been turned into a bag lady! Black marble was removed or painted over; hand-laid mosaic tile floors were covered with adhesive-backed marble veneers, and kitchen renovations left cabinets with lopsided doors and the stove with heating elements that didn't fit.

Nice vintage hotel, good view from my room, clean and comfortable bed. The gym was great.
