It was clean.
We were truly disappointed in the quality of the hotel.

Quiet location.
Quality and cleanliness of room.
This is definitely
no luxury hotel. The furnishings are old, carpets are worn and bathrooms are in strong need of renovation. Cleanliness is also not the best.

The beds were very comfortable.
There was a lot of smoking in the lobby.
Our first room was very tiny and didn't have a bathtub but the staff was very accommodating and switched us to a room with a tub that happened to be much larger than the first. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the smokers in the lobby. It was disgusting to have to walk through on the way in and out but its Europe and people smoke.

Excellent location. Right on subway stop. Near attractions. Nice towels. Very quiet.
Room was small. No coffeemaker. Only one chair. Awful pillows. Soft mattresses.
This hotel is right on a subway stop which is very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel was very quiet, and we had a no smoking room. Most of the rooms are small (although we were offered one which was a bit larger, but it was a smoking room and right by the elevator). The rooms with one bed are tiny and only have a shower. Ours had two beds and a bathtub. The furniture is Ikea like, inexpensive. There are no drawers in the room. The pillows are thin, and the mattress was soft. I'd stay there again for the price and because of the location.

It was close to the U-Bahn.
This hotel was not anywhere near a 4 star hotel compared to (for example) the Renaissance Hotels in Hamburg or Brussels.

Great location close to U-bhan. Friendly staff.
Some furniture in room was old/outdated.
I stayed one night in the Art Otel in Berlin in August 2006. The hotel was easy to find and conveniently located next to an U-bahn station on a quiet street. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, but some of the furniture was old/outdated. I would recommend this hotel to both business and liesure travelers.

Unfriendly staff, small bedrooms, no gym and tiny lobby.
The location is great (close to the Pergamon and next to a canal), the food is also very good and the hotel is in pretty new and modern. Unfortunately I think that the staff is either new or untrained or simply their attitude leaves a lot to be desired. Some were plainly rude and acted as if they were the guests and we were unwelcome. The rooms are nice but small for a 4 star superior hotel and they don't have much of a lobby or public areas besides a small restaurant that doubles as a bar.

Location, can't be beat. Very central.
After checking in, the clerk asked, will you be joining us for breakfast, I responded, is it included she replied, yes. Imagine my surprise when I checked out, and was billed for breakfasts that was supposed to be included! Be careful here, staff might not speak English as well as one would expect.
