I liked the low price and easy parking access.
TV didn't work, hair in the shower.

You get what you pay for! For the price, I was satisfied, but the cleanliness and maintenance could be better.

The room was much nicer than expected, I was upgraded so I could have a quite non smoking room.
Too much tobacco smoke in public areas.

I stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms and it was quite nice, but lacked an in room safe for my lap top. I have worked in the hospitality industry so I look for more than most when staying at a hotel.

Fitness center had ample equipment and open until 10:00 pm. TGI Friday's in lobby was open until 3:00 am every night and saved my night 4 out of 5 nights.

It was close to our meeting facility at the Palms.
The room was directly above the loading dock.

Probably won't go back, second floor room above the loading dock, beer trucks beeping at 6 AM.

Not far from the strip.
Have to walk through casino to get to room, a long walk.

A great
basic room in Vegas.

Location across from the Rio and Palm is good.
Cheap casino hotel and old dated facilities.

Good value for price.
They hotel is not being kept up.

The hotel is a good value, fairly clean easy to get in and out of and relatively close to "The Strip". However, I don't believe they are keeping on top of their maintenance-spigot in bathroom was coming out of wall and sink kept getting plugged up. They need to invest some $$$ on upkeep. This is the kind of place that if not maintained could deteriorate fast.

I had a new shower curtain liner.
Smoke everywhere, seedy people, non service centric staff.

If you're going to stay at this hotel, make sure you see no other hotels in Vegas. You'll realize that you have been stuck a low quality situation.

Great hotel off the busy strip, Very convenient cab ride to and from the convention center.
Nothing really, One glitch not really worth mentioning.

For someone in town for business at the convention center, The Gold Coast was very convenient, has excellent restaurants, (the buffet is the best I have seen) Excellent value. Short cab ride to the real fancy sites if you can break away. I was totally pleased. I will definitely stay there again on business and even if I went to Vegas for pleasure.
