Golden Tulip Little Palace

I am so glad we picked this hotel! American tourists should discover it. It gave us a real Parisian experience as it is located in a residential and non "touristy" neighborhood in the 16th eme. but literally next to the Metro so you can hop anywhere. Many of the guests were French rather than foreign tourists. In particular, the young, helpful staff were just delightful. Breakfast was generous and worth getting; I liked the instant expresso machine. The room was small by US standards (no surprise) but quiet, lots of storage space, in-room safe and a great bathroom with natural light and a tub to soak in after a long day of sightseeing! Air-conditioning was a huge plus as the weather turned hot. They let us use the mini-bar fridge for our own food, which was quite helpful. read more

We would stay here again! It was very convenient to the metro. Once the park across the street closed in the evening, it was very quiet. I loved the curtains- they didn't let in any light!

A well designed hotel with a chic palette. A fantastic hotel for the money. Loved the fact that it was right near two metro stations and happening nightlife on rue des Lombard's, but also a bit removed, and on a quiet street overlooking a fountain.
