Beautiful, clean hotel with excellent pool and beach areas. Mexican restaurant was superb.
Contemporary Mediterranean restaurant was overpriced.

Great place for a getaway. Good location, moderately priced but exceptional facilities.

Beautiful hotel with a friendly staff. Perfect location on the hotel strip in Cancun.
Water in the pool was cooler than I like. Not enough pool chairs.

Enjoyed the Melia. Room was comfortable with efficient maid service. The pool area was great however, we were there week before Easter and it was very crowded with families. This meant a shortage of pool chaises. The breakfast buffet was full of a variety of breakfast foods to meet anyones taste.

Comfortable bedding, beautifully sited on the ocean, well maintained.
Due to the structure height, the hotel was very humid and too warm.

Room was very nice and view was fantastic.
Water was rough at beach in front of hotel.

Great hotel. Had to take the bus to go to restaurants, but bus fare is very reasonable. Would definitely stay there again.

The rooms were large and comfortable, clean and very quiet.
There was not much of a beach and it was too rocky for ocean swimming.

We enjoyed our stay at the Gran Melia and would return. It's a nice place to go for a relaxing getaway with all the conveniences of home.
