Chris Issac concert and buffet.

Hotel was nice, concert was great, outside amusement thrill ride cool, the bartender that we encountered was rude, unprofessional, and argumentative.

Very basic casino hotel.
Room wasn't that clean.

Basic rooms. Nothing fancy. Room was not that clean. Phone was dirty. About par for the course for a cheap casino hotel. It was the weekend so the prices were much more expensive.

The rooms are really outdated.

The staff was rude, the rooms are really outdated and dingy feeling. Directly across the street is a half way house and on the other side is a homeless park so not exactly what I would call family friendly.

Self-contained, lots of food options, gaming, etc.
Shower head and pressure were poor.

Nice hotel with lots of options, a nice bargain, amazing discount rate. At full price, I would have been very disappointing. Negatives: The room showed the true age of the hotel, unlike the more modern lobby and gaming area. Nothing particularly special about the room, electronics, or bed. Shower head was incredibly bad, tiny regular stream, weak pressure. By updating this relatively inexpensive piece, the whole experience could be improved greatly. As is, the room feels only slightly better than a 2-star chain, but the hotel gets an extra star for the other amenities. Positives: Casino, bars, and clubs were great. Sports book on-site. Plenty of restaurant options. Beach pool area looked fantastic, as did the driving range. Great views of the mountains and downtown/ read more

We had previously stayed here through a reservation on Priceline and received a beautiful, newly renovated room that exceeded our expectations. However, this time we received an older room that didn't even compare to the previous stay. You can imagine our disappointment. Definitely ask for a newer room when you check in.
