Great Bend Travelodge

Much nicer hotels next door for same price as a walk in.

The hotel needed updating, there was a dead ant on one of the pillows, the carpet was stained, the towels were like sandpaper.

Our room had comfortable furnishings; a nice sofa to relax on, a coffee table for eat in meals, a microwave and a mini-fridge. Perfect for those of us who use a grocery store instead of a restaurant when traveling.

This is a decent hotel for the price if you need just a place to sleep. The bed is not comfortable, but not uncomfortable either. The room is clean, but sort of tattered. The breakfast was quite frankly a joke, but the people were friendly, there was a bed, and it had hot water. Not a place to plan a weekend to, but alright for just stopping in for one night.

The bathroom and vanity area were not completely clean (hair clogged the tub drain and the blow dryer was sticky). Due to hard water and lack of maintenance, the plumbing fixtures did not work properly.

Rooms were dirty, I don't think they know the meaning of fabric softener, it had snowed, and they did not shovel the walk or the lot. will never stay there again, would much rather sleep in my car.

Good value. Great staff. Water pressure very weak.

This was a pleasant stay in a clean friendly atmosphere. The only thing that was not satisfactory was that the electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work, so the in-toom hair dryer was inoperable as well.

All in all very pleasant breakfast was good and the all of the staff was very helpful and courteous.

I liked this hotel for the convenience and the location in relation to the work I was doing in great bend.
