Very clean, with up to date amenities in room.
The pool was not very clean.

Great location - close to just about every store imaginable. 5 minute easy drive to the beaches. Nice, clean and attractive rooms. Staff very friendly & helpful. Great value for money paid. Only problem was the pool water was not very clean.

A little too far from the beach.

Good breakfast buffet.
We were lied to by the hotel staff.

When we turned on the TV it did not work. We called back down to the desk and they sent someone up. When they could not get it to work they said they would let us switch rooms, then they moved us right across the hall to a room with double beds! We had been lied to by the staff! We still had to put up with a smoking room. The breakfast was good each morning and the rooms were clean but could have used some more work. Also, the pool was not very clean. read more

The bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom spacious, nice space.
We weren't there long enough to find anything wrong with it.

Our drive to Jacksonville took 3 hours longer than expected--we didn't arrive until 2:00 a.m. The staff had no problem holding our room. I thought I had reserved the room for 2 nights and realized when we arrived that it was only for that one night. We were very disappointed--we won a great rate, less than half the regular price and had to move to a different hotel. Also, we had a smoking room, but the staff moved us to a non-smoking. I have had 2 bad experiences with Hampton Inns in the past and was a little leery of staying in it again, but this has turned my thoughts around. Great room, great rate. read more
