The staff was friendly and the location was great!
Breakfast needs more healthy alternatives.

The hotel isn't in the prettiest part of town but for travelers who plan to see all of the city it's a perfect location (especially if you are coming in or out by train or bus). The staff was fantastic and friendly and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast options are limited as far as healthy alternatives but it's free and everyone will find something they like.

Noisy floor mates.

Conveniently located near Herald Square and Penn Station. Comfortable rooms, fantastic staff! Would choose to stay there again next time I'm in the city.

The complimentary breakfast and wireless internet are awesome.
The house-cleaning staff forgot to clean up the room for 1 day.

The staff at the front desk is very friendly.

Front desk provided me with early check in.
Breakfast didn't start until after I had to leave for the airport.

I liked the modern comfortable minimalist decor.
The breakfast staff could have been more courteous, but was still ok.

Just got back from the stay at the Hampton Inn. It was a very nice property - very comfortable and modern room. The lobby is an attractive minimalist chic; the staff is friendly. I loved the location. There are many shops and restaurants nearby; a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts are both just a couple storefronts down the street. They had just changed the policy for ending breakfast at 10 am instead of 10.30 am. This update had not been reflected in the booklet in the room. Unfortunately the breakfast staff was barely polite about explaining the change. Nontheless the breakfast is a nice added bonus. read more
