The Hampton Inn Meriden hotel is located just off I-91 I-691 Routes 5 - 15 and is convenient to I-95 and I-84. There are many area attractions that surround us in the nearby towns of Wallingford Cheshire North Haven Hamden Middletown Cromwell and Newington Connecticut. For entertainment there is the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford and The Palace Theater and the Shubert Performing Arts Center in New Haven Connecticut. Several movie theaters are very close by as well. The location is very convenient. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast are very good. Coffee and hot water in lobby for 24 hours.
The air condition in the room is old and noisy.

The only thing I do not like is the air condition in the room which is old and noisy. I was not used to it the first night.

Tub was dirty, tiles had mold and the tub floor also.

Quick access from the main street and plenty of parking space free. They have refreshments and coffee all night and complimentary breakfast!

Super clean room, great hot breakfast and good coffee.
Nothing.

First time I have stayed at a Hampton Inn. if they are all like this, I will be switch from Sheraton. Professional staff, immaculate room and probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept on. Breakfast was very good. Hot eggs, fresh muffins and pretty good coffee included. For a business traveler it was perfect.

The stuff they used in the room, like shampoos
and soaps are very low quality and bad for skin that has gave me a rash on my face and my skin is coming.

The hotel staff was very slow and wasn't friendly bcause they have lack of information, the staff in the room was very low and poor quality with that soap, cream
and shampoo my skin was coming off and it was the worst quality
I have seen in hotel.

Friendly helpful staff, great bed linens, great breakfast, free internet.
Close to highway SI road side rooms might be noisy. We were on side away from road and heard no road noise. No fridge in room. No microwave in room.

Overall an excellent hotel experience for us. Location was convenient for our purposes and staff was very friendly and helpful. We would be very happy to stay there again.

Close, almost on top of interstate entrance/exit. close to local businesses, easy to get to. Rooms clean, staff friendly.

Free Wi-Fi in all rooms and computer in lobby for use.
Bathroom smelled a little musty.

Everything was Great. Staff Very Friendly. Breakfast Buffet was very good. Fresh Fruit always. Great coffee 24 hours a day. Fresh Cookies Too! Loved it.
