The Hampton Inn Somerset hotel is located off Route 287 /north or south/ in a corporate park area with many major companies nearby. We are two blocks from the Garden State Exhibit Center a short drive from Rutgers University and only 30 minutes from metropolitan New York City. Other area attractions are amusement parks colonial architecture picnic sites with playgrounds and fish ponds cycling museum and shopping malls. Within five miles of the Hampton Inn guests can dine at Ruby Tuesday*s O*Connor*s Old Man Rafferty*s and Ovations. Furthermore we are located on the same block with two of the newest banquets halls in New Jersey. The Palace at Somerset Park and The Imperia. Our Somerset Hampton Inn features 109 amenity filled rooms that include coffeemaker refrigerator hair dryer iron and ironing board and complimentary high-speed internet access. Standard guests rooms have one queen two doubles or one king bed. Guests can request a Queen Suite with a living room with sofa bed and recliner kitchenette with small refrigerator and microwave and a separate bedroom with queen bed. Informed and friendly staff; very willing to help.
HVAC was unbelievably noisy; turned on and off all the time.

Conveniently located, clean, smartly laid out, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly without cowering, smart about local stuff, helpful about logistics, and generally very welcoming. The room was small though perfect for one person, internet access was a breeze, and everything was clean and available. I hope to stay here on my next trip back to the area.

The bedding was wonderful, fresh & clean!
The fixture cover on the shower to the wall was falling down.

I was extremely pleased with the hotel. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The bedding was exceptionally fresh and comfortable. The shower was in need of minor repair but that would not stop me from staying at the facility again. Wonderful experience.
