Very clean and comfortable. Modern, pleasing room amenities with a very attentive staff.

This place was good.
This hotel is very well situated near lots of night spots downtown, and yet offers a quiet, clean, and comfortable respite. We were on a leisure trip, but this could also be perfect for business because of its prime location.

The room decor and furnishings were classy and comfortable.
The front desk clerk was not friendly and had to be asked repeatedly for basic information.

I was happy with my stay and pleasantly surprised at the lovely decor. The rooms and common areas are well furnished, modern and have all the basic necessities. I love that there are multiple pillows on the bed with different firmness to choose from. The continental breakfast was decent, more than just donuts and bagels, but the pseudo-fried eggs were strange. I was very unhappy with the front desk clerk during check-in. He did not tell us that the credit card he took for incidentals included having to pay for parking, did not tell me where the parking lot was (it isn't obvious), gave poor directions on how to get to a local restaurant within walking distance and was generally unfriendly. The location is great: and easy exit off the highway and within walking distance of the state capital, theater and performing arts center, a few decent restaurants and great nightlife.

Biscuits & gravy for Easter Sunday continental breakfast.

This hotel was very nice. The rooms were comfortable. Nice big bead / walk-in shower. The staff was pleasant. Valet parking / well equipted fitness room. With the exception of Easter Sunday the continental breakfast was decent. Night life right out the front door arounbd the corner. I would definitly stay here again.

Attractive, comfortable, friendly.
I wasn't sure I wanted to be on the tenth floor, but views were good.

While on a recent trip across country, I discovered a Hampton Inn and was pleasantly surprised. I sought out another, and liked the consistency between them. So when I searched for lodging in Albany, I was pleased to find another Hamptom Inn at a reasonable price. It was even nicer than the ones in Ohio and Texas, but with some familiar amenities. Thank you!

The location, very centralized around everything.

In town for a concert. The hotel was beautiful. You do have to pay for parking but the valet was very friendly and it made me feel more secure than just leaving my vehicle on the street. Staff was very friendly. Bathroom is huge. Bed was very comfortable and the view from our room was amazing. All downtown shopping and nightlife is just a short walk away. Entrance to highway is right across the street making leaving very convienent. I would stay here again. read more
