Harborside Hyatt Conference Center And Hotel

Favorable and easy for early morning flight.

Hotel was fantastic minus the expensive parking. The first room I was given had a clogged shower drain; which was an unpleasant nuisance. But the hotel staff immediately offered another room with a better view to compensate for the situation and even brought the new room keys to the door and offered to help move my luggage.

Bathroom sink had tooth paste in it. Toilet was dirty. On day 2, the room did not get made up until 6:00 pm. Television did not work properly. Parking fees were $32.00 a day. Staff was apologetic and helpful. But did not offer any compensation.

My flight arrived after midnight, so I wanted a hotel close to the airport where I could spend the night. For that purpose, the Hyatt worked out great. If I were to spend more time there, I think the hotel would not have met my expectations of a 4-star hotel. The room was in a state of disrepair - the closet door was broken and there were many holes and dings in the wall.

Overall it was very nice.
Clean rooms although we had to ask for extra coffee cups. Loved the convenience of the water taxi into the city.

The hotel is off to the side of the airport, overlooking the harbor. Access to the city is very easy by water taxi (small boats that carry passengers across the harbor to multiple points in the city). It is also possible to take the hotel's shuttle to the subway station to travel around the city. Rooms were very quiet, with no airplane noise. The feel is of an upscale hotel, but not of a resort or luxury hotel. read more
