The room was very comfortable and relaxing.
Getting from the front desk to the rooms was a little confusing but other than that it was wonderful.
The valet parking people were very nice. And it was complimentry. Great bonus. The buffet was clean and very good food. We were not there very long due to an appointment.

I liked the close proximity to downtown.
I hated having to walk through to casinos in my gym clothes to find the fitness center. Then being charged $10 once I got there.
Hotel staff was never to be found. The fitness center charged $10 which I thought was ridiculous to use a treadmill for 20 minutes. No snack vending machines on the premises. I won't be staying at a Harrah's again.

Clean. Updated. Had all amenities available.
Paying for High-speed wireless access.
While many hotel casinos in Reno are slow to update their facilities, Harrah's had nicely furnished rooms and newer common areas. They have good options when it comes to eating. Friendly staff at the front desk, restaurants, etc. Have wireless Internet access, but not free, so adding this to the cost of the room lessens the overall value.

Great restaurants, convenient location.
Getting a bit long in the tooth. Threadbare furnishings. Tired decor.
The hotel was satisfactory in every way.

Options.
Cigarette smoke in casino.
The view was great and the room was very clean and enjoyable. If you are going to a business meeting, this is the place to stay.

Nice room on an upper floor had a great view of the city and mountains.
Cigarette smoking in the common areas; not a good family environment.
Located in downtown Reno and easily accessible by free shuttle from the airport. Price very good for the quality of the room, but. It's Reno with cigarette smoke very heavy in the common areas. Good for a business traveler or if you are a smoker, but a smoke-free hotel (Fairfield inn) in nearby sparks better for a family staying in Reno.
