Description of Hawaii Prince Hotel
The Hawaii Prince Hotel is a bold achievement in architectural design. The hotel presents spectacular all-oceanfront accommodations and world-class service at one of the most desirable and convenient locations in Waikiki. The 350-foot twin tower structure is sheathed in rose-colored glass, with complimentary-toned limestone. Fine English slate and an accompaniment of other fine materials distinguish the walkways of hotel grounds. The lush tropical landscaping surrounding the structures features a five-story cascading fountain - the only one of its kind in Waikiki. The hotel's pool, located on the fifth floor offers an amazing ocean view. The dedication to the Aloha spirit is evident from the hot hand towels you receive at check-in to the prompt, personal attention you get in each of our restaurants. We pride ourselves at remembering names and do not hesitate to give you ours in case you need something special. Its this comfortable feeling of a home-away-from-home that keeps our guests and business travelers returning year after year. Between Waikikis glamorous nightlife and Ala Moana Center shopping, its hard not to keep yourself busy 24 hours a day. But should you take some time just for yourself, the Hawaii Prince offers exciting options to enhance your Honolulu stay. 27 holes of championship golf designed by Arnold Palmer. The Hawaii Prince is the only hotel in Waikiki with its own golf course. Hotel guests receive preferred tee times, rates and complimentary transportation. Location and view of the ocean.
No microwave in room, no direct beach access, but close to other locations that did have access.

Excellent view of the ocean from our room. Would have been nice if the hotel had offered a continental breakfast.

The hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.
The hotel room smelled.

The hotel is generally pleasant. Situated out of Downtown Waikiki you need to take the various shuttles to get into town. The staff
was very helpful and friendly.

All staff were very nice and attentive.
A little far from the main part of Waikiki beach.

This hotel was everything I could have wanted plus more. All the staff I encountered were excellent. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the marina. Shuttle bus to Waikiki was very nice. I would definitely stay here again .

Views for the rooms.

We liked everything about this place, the location was great for us, close to the mall. The views from each room were great, and the connecting rooms were fabulous.

It was very quiet with a better than expected view.
The beds were extremely hard. I do not like soft mattresses but these were way to hard.

The front desk personnel were polite and accomodating. The hotel was very quiet and I was concerned because our rooms were right across from the elevator. The large windows that looked out to the marina and harbor opened, which was a very pleasant surprise. The rooms were a bit stark and not very resort-like, really could use an update, but for what we paid for the rooms, it was adequate. The beds were much too hard, but maybe that was to accomodate the predominantly Asian clientele. We chose the hotel because we needed a convenient place for one night in Waikiki on our way up to the North Shore the following day. It satisfied all of our needs, but I would not neccessarily pick it for my entire stay in Waikiki as a family vacation, unless you were really on a budget. read more

Free Shuttle service to downtown locations and free upgrades.
The construction around the hotel, the buffet was pricey.

We were very pleased with our stay, nice friendly service. Close to Wikkki beach. And free shuttle service to local restaurants and shopping. Wonderful stay, can't wait to stay there again.

Parking cost was about 30% less than all the other properties.
Older property.

This Prince Hotel did not live up my experience with other Prince Properties. While it was still adequate, you can see in the rooms that this is an older property that appears to have some delayed maintenance, i.e. mildew in the shower. There were ants in the bathroom as well as around the center bedside table.

The view is excellent.
The internet service slow and expensive. Local and toll-free calls are charged at 75 cents each and parking is $15.
