Hesperia Presidente

Hotel was father away from la rambles than I thought from looking on a map, but when has this not been the case. The cab ride was about 30 euros from bcn with our luggage. The hotel is very modern and served a nice breakfast in the morning (a bit more than I would like to spend, but on par for a 4-star hotel). Unfortunately even after emailing the hotel about our early arrival and receiving a response saying an early check-in would not be a problem we still had to wait. We did have a problem with the shower leaking on to the floor as the shower door would not close all the way. We called the front desk to tell them about it and ask for new/more towels but none were ever delivered. It was a very modern room. However the room was not comfortable for me to share with my father. We got 2 single beds but they were hardly separated and the shower was frosted glass on 1.5 sides and one side shared the wall with the bedroom. As a single person or couple this would be ok, but as a father and daughter in her 30's it was uncomfortable. read more
