"Shockingly large – even for Texas" – and with "all the charm of an airplane hangar" ("and about the size of one too"), this business outpost in the Market Center is "a safe choice" "for large meetings" since you never "have to leave the air-conditioning" (though you'll need "comfortable shoes" as it's "easy to get lost"); the "recently redone rooms" are "immaculate" and the spa is "wonderful", although pickier patrons say the "service is not up to the chain's usual standards."

Spacious and attractive. Very convenient. Shuttle was a great feature.
Plumbing problems. Plumbing backed up in both sinks.

Convenience to World Trade Mart.
Having to pay for gym facilities. Not near outside activities, shops or restaurants.

This is a very comfortable hotel and perfect for doing business at the World Trade Center. Even though the gym is state of the art paying $16 a day to use it is a huge rip off for the business traveler.

Gorgeous decor!
I had my card charged for someone else's meal tab.

Hilton Anatole was gorgeous! The staff were fantastic, and I had no check-in issues. The only problem I had was when I received my incidentals bill and saw that there was a charge for $130 for a meal at the restaurant. I called the front desk and within five minutes, they had verified that my room had mistakenly been charged for the meal and resolved the issue. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler. read more

Nice, upscale furnishings, bedding, etc.
Paying extra for use of pool and gym.

We generally stay at 3.5 star hotels (Embassy Suites, etc.) and will most likely continue to stay in that category - just as nice and more amenities (pool and gym access at no extra charge, microwave and refrigerator in room at no extra charge, room service is much cheaper, and staff is just as friendly and the furnishings are just as nice).

Spaciousness.
The hard bed, pay for self parking, low water pressure, and the AC didn't work.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to family or friends, the AC didn't work we called front desk a worker came up there turned AC down to 60 but the room temp still stayed above 75. There was low water pressure, and you had to pay to park yourself.

Convenient location and
nice furnishings in room.
Room was located by elevator with view of gravel roof on 3rd floor, air conditioning didn't work properly, and parking was expensive.
