Spectacular decor in the public areas.
Incredibly thin walls. Narrow, oddly shaped room.
Everything about the Cincinnati Netherland Hilton is gorgeous and comfortable, except the rooms themselves (there was less than 3 1/2 feet between the foot of the bed and the wall in my room). Although the walls in the room looked and felt solid, every syllable spoken in the next room was completely understandable, as if the guests next door were standing around my bed. But the public area is superb and the gym (shared with downtown workers) is exceptionally appointed. read more

Excellent and friendly service, great hotel for the price!
The only bad thing was there was a used shower cap hanging on our bathroom door upon check in.
Very beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again, it was a great experience.

The convenience to downtown and the comfy king bed!
The bar staff is TERRIBLE RUDE! $21 valet nightly.
Everything was great except for the bar staff being EXTREMELY rude (so much so we left without ordering anything) and the pipes rumbling in the walls every time someone turned the water on. They did buy us a movie and provided some treats in return for the noise inconvenience.

The size of the hotel room we were given. Extremely small, similar to a bedroom.
The hotel room was very very small. It did not meet the 5-star quality. The amenities were great, but the room was smaller than a bedroom. Very disappointing.

Nice hotel if I had two beds.
I had to sleep on the floor because they could not, or did not, meet my wish to have two double beds.
Nice hotel. Rooms are small. Staff did not go out of their way to make my family more comfortable.

Room was outdated, too small and too much noise from the street and we we on the 27th floor!
I would never stay at this hotel again. The room was small, outdated and semi clean. Too much noise coming from the street & we were on the 27th floor! When I called to complain nothing was done to try to accomadate us, this is not the expectation I have of a 4 star hotel.

The location was good.
Incredibly small rooms. Totally disorganized valet service.
I would not recommend this hotel. We've stayed at several in the downtown Cinci area, this was by far the biggest disappointment. The valet parking was extremely disorganized and frustrating. The room had plumbing problems that made noise all night. But mainly, the biggest complaint is the room size. An absolute total joke - they were so small! Literally a bed with barely room to walk around it. The only positive was the fitness center. read more
