It was a good price and conveniently located.
The restaurant closed rather early and there was no where to dine late.

The hotel is old but was kept very nicely. The rooms were nice, the location is good and the pool looked nice even though I didn't have time to use it. There was also free internet access which is a plus! I had lunch with my stepdaughter at the restaurant the next day and it was very nice.

Staff was very responsive and really tried to fix a serious problem.
The hotel room was not checked for safety prior to assignment.

This is a hotel that was supposed to have been completely renovated recently. The priceline room I was assigned was...ready for this? Missing the peephole. It was stuffed with toilet paper. Now, how you "miss" a serious security flaw, I don't know. But I was so under the weather when I checked in, I didn't notice it... until the next morning.

I was next to the hospitality suite. The staff was loudly setting up tables early one morning and woke me up.

Proximity to Merriweather Post Pavilion.
Room furniture was out-dated, not nicely decorated.

Finding this hotel was difficult because it is tucked away off a small road. The room we stayed in was in a non-smoking hallway/wing, but the hallways wreaked of smoke. The chair/couch in our room were stained and dirty looking. No frig - when we called for a frig the 1st one they brought was broken. Outrageous! The restaurant was very slow service. The bar later that night was severely understaffed especially considering there was a wedding group and a military dinner/reception going on --- poor, poor management decision. read more

Big, comfy bed!
The breakfast buffet is awful, and way overpriced.

Great stay if attending an event in the area!

Every visit has been excellent!

Every time I have stayed here has been an outstanding experience, it has all the expected amenities plus live jazz music on Friday nights.

clean tub
AC did not work/filthy outside w/ food trash and flies

Upon arrival, the front of the hotel was FILTHY. Trashcans overflowing with trash and food debris, the benches and common areas also filled with trash and food bags. Our room did not have AC and even though we had just checked in 2 minutes, they wanted us to stay in the room and wait for it to be fixed rather than move us. We ultimately were moved. In room lacked hotel directory and sufficient towels. We tracked down a housekeeper on the floor for help, but she did not understand one word of what we said. read more
