When we arrived we were informed that we could only have a king size bed. This was a little difficult with a 4 year old & a 1 year old. The room was also one of the smallest rooms we've ever stayed in, in a 3 star. The glasses that my wife used were never cleaned properly & her lip gloss was visible on them from the first day she used them, till when we left. Some days the bed was made properly, other days, sheets just pulled roughly into place, not tucked in. Hotel corridors smelt unclean. Pool was so small it was not worth even using & fitness room was very poor. If we had booked directly with the hotel, then we would have asked for our money back & found another hotel. read more

Loved the sleep number bed!
Breakfast buffet was pricey, especially for children.

We loved our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn and will likely make it our regular hotel when we stay in Portland. The sleep-number-type bed was amazing and very comfortable, the room was nicely appointed with fridge and microwave, plus all the usual accessories (iron, blow dryer, coffee maker, etc). The restaurant had good food, though it was expensive, especially with kids. (Adult breakfast buffet $9.95, kids buffet $5.95). read more

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly.
I had to have new sheets put on the bed because of an allergy to their deodorizer spray and had to put them on myself.

This was a great hotel that was clean and quiet.

Very noisy rooms. You could hear every toilet flush. They tried to charge us $15 for a roll away without telling us.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I think we could hear every toilet flush, alarm clock and talking person in the entire building. The staff told us that we could have a roll away bed in the room, but they failed to tell us that they would charge us $15. I think that is very rude! We were able to get the charge removed.

Great location, nice and clean beddings, good with fridge and microwave
They could not provide 2 queen beds because I travelled with 2 kids

Beautiful lobby and helpful front desk staffs. Room and beddings are clean and comfortable. Swimming pool and business center are good. Good to have fridge and microwave for family travelers.
