Very close to the highway. Easy parking and liked that my room had a microwave & fridge.
Not in a very desirable location. Few local restaurants but nothing to write home about.

but it took me 2 days to realize it. Nice desk and chair to relax in. Perfect for the business traveler or someone visiting providence who doesn't want to stay in the city.

The hotel was worth
I paid for it. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. It is conveniently located next to the Providence airport and there is a shuttle available to take you to/from the airport. I did have two negative experiences with the hotel. I ate in the hotel restaurant and ordered chicken, which was served partially raw. I sent the meal back to the kitchen and the hotel "comped" the meal, but I don't think I'd ever order poultry or pork here again. The other negative that I would mention is the water pressure in the bathrooms. I only paid $40 per night on priceline.com for the room, so I can overlook some of the shortcomings, but guests may want to be aware prior to booking. read more

New hotel, big rooms with fridge and microwave, free cookies at check-in.

The Warwick HGI is geared towards business travelers. It's a block away from the Providence airport, next to the airport train station (under construction). The rooms are big, with a kitchen unit containing a fridge and microwave. The hotel is pretty new, so everything is clean and modern, except for the CRT TVs. Free wired and wireless internet in the rooms and lobby, coin-op laundry machines on each floor, and heavy mattresses. read more
