Wonderful beds, super convenient location, and we felt safe.
Proximity to fire station might bother some people.
Clean room, wonderful bedding, friendly staff, quick check-in, doorman who recognized me the second time I walked in the door. Room had a microwave and fridge (not a booby-trapped mini-bar type, but an empty fridge). Gift shop downstairs also had microwave dinners, snacks and ice cream for evenings when you're too tired to go out.

The location was good for walking to restaurants.
On the 2nd floor you can hear the subway.
Overall, the hotel was a good value for the money. Location was great and the room was very clean and comfortable.

Incredible customer service! They even called to make sure my experience was going well.
I wish I didn't have to pull two all-nighters in a row for work - the bed was comfortable and I would have preferred to sleep!
I had a great experience here. While I was initially frustrated that the USB port in the business center wouldn't read my jump drive (and I was late for a meeting!), I was immediately impressed with how readily the staff took my drive and simply printed out whatever I needed right at the front desk - without me asking. Then, I received a phone call just to make sure my stay was going well. The doorman gave me better subway directions than two NYPD officers. No complaints! read more

The accommodations were great. Very comfortable bed and room. Fridge and Coffee maker in room.
Couldn't find anything at fault with hotel.
Great location in Manhattan. Times Square very convenient. Subway around the corner. Hotel room very neat and clean, very comfortable. Onsite fitness room. Had problem that required plumber during late night hours and got immediate service efficient and friendly. 24 hour store in lobby was great for late night snacks.

Very nice redo. Solid rooms with nice amenities. A microwave in the room was a great touch, as was complimentary Wi-Fi. East facing room looked upon a brick wall, but kept things fairly quiet. Staff more efficient than personality. A very good choice, when traveling for business and more, I can get hip bars and huge restaurants right nearby and the rooms deliver good comfort.

was extremely nice and helpful.
My first room I was given was already occupied buy another guest.
My overall stay at The Hilton Gardens Inn on 8th ave NY, NY was great. Room was very clean. Staff was very helpful. The only negative comment I have to make is. The the room I was first checked in to was already occupied.

It was a few blocks from subway, but so is every other hotel.
Everything. The hotel was old, outdated, not in the location I was expecting.
Even thou it claims Times Square, it really technically is not. My room was very small. I could barely shut the door to the bathroom. Its very dated and it just looks really old and feels dirty.

Room was clean, spacious for NYC standards and very comfortable.
Nothing worthy of mentioning really liked my stay there.
I really enjoyed my stay, would stay there again. Very clean and very comfortable. Very close to Time Square attractions. Met my needs perfectly.
