Being on the beach was wonderful.
The bed was absolutely horrible. Too soft and lumpy.
This hotel is perfect for couples just wanting to get away for a couple of days. The room service was delicious. There was room in the shower for both of us. The only problem was that the bed was a bit uncomfortable.

It was right on the ocean and it was beautiful.
Nothing really.
Hotel was very nice, walkway directly to the ocean. Wonderful hammocks to relax in. Pool Bar and Flat Screen TV to watch your favorite sports team in the open air. Room was very nice, overall great experience. I would definitely come back

Access to the beach was excellent.
Had to pay for parking.
The hotel was located directly on the beach, with incredible views from the lobby area of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The meals and drinks were reasonably priced considering the resort location.

Rooms were only partially remodeled and bathrooms were old and ugly. Parts were not painted or sanded in the ceilings.
Partially remodeled rooms. Bathrooms had stained walls/ceilings, with large patches that were not sanded or painted. Light switches and closets were old and stained. One of the pools had stained or dirty bottom. Location is great, pool area is great but unless you get a good discount on the rate, I would stay away.

Front desk was very helpful upon check-in.
There is a charge for parking & no free internet connection.
The level of service and attention to detail (like putting out ice water & apples for early morning beach joggers) help makes the Marriott stand out above others in Hilton Head. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Beach front property.
The noise in the hall and outside.
The don't use fabric softener in the towels, the internet does not work, the noise in the hall went on all night, no room service after placing order.

Plenty of pool chairs and places to relax and read outside.
Nothing negative.
Love this resort! I have boys ages 12 and 16 and there was plenty to keep them busy while I read a book.
