Elevator noise.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Good sized room with bigger than usual twin beds. Good linens.

Great location.

The hotel is in a good location in Islington; great bars, pubs, and restaurants nearby. Sainsbury and Marks/Spencers is also nearby as well. Hotel is clean, nicely sized rooms, and good professional staff.

Excellent location, close to subway and good dining option in the neighborhood.
Plumbing noise that were very loud during the morning.

The Hilton Islington is conveniently located two blocks from the subway in a nice, safe neighborhood filled with shops, pubs, and inexpensive but quality dining options. Highly recommended.

Charge for for local phone calls.

I am appalled that hotels of this caliber continue to charge exorbitant rates for phone and Internet. 2 GBP/minute for local phone calls and 15 GBP for Internet is ridiculous when the cost of these items to the hotel is negligible.

Air conditioning system in bedrooms.

Nice hotel, convenient to shops, restaurants and Angel tube station. Nice rooms. Expensive restaurant (but typical of London hotels). Quiet.

They allowed us to check in before the 3 pm limit and accommodated us with adjoining rooms for our children.
Rooms were a little smaller than a US hotel would have been.

This is a great location for tourist travel. Lots of places to eat and drink and shop. It's near a tube station too. Very clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
