I liked our room on the third floor, Presidential Suite. The room was spacious and I loved the desk and two reading chairs.
The hotel staff needs a map of their floors. When I first asked for a quiet room, the front desk staff gave me a room right across from the vending machine.

I can't think of anything.
Parking fee, no mini fridge, no microwave, no free Wi-Fi in room, rooms not upgraded, complex is poorly laid out.

As far as Hilton Oakland Airport goes, it's a misrepresentation for them to be considered a 3-star hotel. I will never pick Oakland as a region again for fear that I will be stuck with the Hilton Oakland Airport property. There is no free Wi-Fi anywhere on the premises.I was so not happy about having to pay $30 more a night as an upsell that I went to the lobby and asked for the manager on duty. She really listened to my concerns and comped me the $30 extra per night. I was completely satisfied with this arrangement. read more

Clean room, convenient to airport, friendly staff, crisp sheets.
Pay parking, internet 49cents/minute, shuttle to train station is scheduled only and run at top of the hour only not flexible.

The hotel comprised of 5 three story building with pool outside no swimmers seen. Although the buildings look old, it's clean and well appointed inside, despite the yellow bath tub. Has in room coffee, small store, separate structure for conferences & restaurant. Overall, a pleasant hotel. Internet usage is 49cents /minute and parking overnight costs me 9.75

It is near downtown Oakland, which is where I wanted to be.

Three stars don't fit this place. it is ok, but it is located, essentially, in the airport parking lot.

Oh, I liked the ants in my room! Nothing.
Most hotels these days have free WiFi and parking, well most of the other comparable hotels in the area do. This hotel did not.

The staff of this hotel is the only reason it stays in business.

The bed was very comfortable
The bathroom sink had hair in it. The toilet had scum under the ring.
