The hotel operator went above and beyond!
I was disappointed with the overall scenery of the hotel.

The customer service was outstanding. For a Hilton 3 or 4 star on the riverwalk I expected them to have later hours for room service and that was very disappointing as it was very limited!

Parking is overpriced.

For a hotel that has been around a while the Placio Del Rio still is one of my favorites in San Antonio. The hotel is on the Riverwalk and just a block from the Alamo and the Hemisphere Plaza.

Comfy beds.
Self parking was a block away.

Our room was very nice. The beds were comfortable, the room had a coffee maker. The bath area was well stocked with towels and was very clean.
