The room was clean, neat, well appointed and the location was perfect.
The room was a tad small, and there was continuing construction going.

A great upscale downtown hotel. The room's decor was spa-like and tranquil, with a wall-mounted flat screen TV. We had a great view of Point Park, Heinz Field, the Science Center and the Three Rivers from our window. The staff was pleasant and courteous - even the valet parking guy! Despite its being right downtown, it was very quiet - no street noise at all. Extremely clean and well-appointed. read more

Renovated room with good view.

Property has on-going construction. For a full service hotel, the amenities are very limited - no pool, restaurant/bar close very early. The dumbest thing is they have renovated the rooms, and have installed glass - paneled sliding doors for the bathroom. The glass is smoked, but you can see right through it. Also, when we closed the bathroom door from the outside, the door locked, and maintenance had to come and open it. This is an older property in a good location, but parking is difficult. read more

Small but luxurious rooms, great location, excellent value. But no hotel parking. Had to park at a garage across the street. A simple sign would have helped.
Great service, excellent experience, can't wait to go back!

Room very clean & stylish.
Very noisy, could hear people talking, walking in hallway & next room.

The hotel was very clean, the staff very helpful however major traffic concerns in front of hotel and in valet loading/unloading areas (very unorganized) took over an hour to get approx. 1/2 a block due to vehicles left unattended. I actually got out of the vehicle and walked the 1/2 block to check in and when I returned my driver had just reached the entrance!

Location was great.
Two large conventions in four days meant crowded public areas, long waits for elevators and no rollaway beds.

The view of the city was beautiful.
The bar and the restaurant both closed 2 hours early without notice.

The location is prime for shopping and only a mile away from local entertainment. We were disappointed to find out that both the restaurant and the bar closed a whole two hours early. When I asked about this inconvenience in the morning, the staff said that it happened all the time but did not apologize. I've definitely stayed at more friendly Hilton's.

It's location right at the park and fountain.
Exercise equipment was in poor condition. Construction and closed streets around the hotel made arrival very confusing.

Everything was great about our stay, except that they need to pay a little more attention to three minor items - valet parking was not moving any cars (ten or more) when we arrived on Friday night, so we had to park illegally just to be able to check in - many of the pieces of exercise equipment were partially or completely inoperative - and the ice machine on our floor was off or inoperative. read more

Valet parking was full, so I was forced to pay $37.00 for inconvenient public parking - hotel would not help alleviate situation.

Location.
Renovations not good, rooms were very small.

No nice way to say it. The bed smelled very badly. We moved rooms, and the next room was so small you could barley turn around in it. Closets not functional. Then the next night room service brought us something he dropped the tray, and broke 2 glasses in the hallway and bathroom floor, it took an hour for someone to clean it up. Then we could not walk barefoot the next 3 days because they still didn't clean it all up. Towel serviced skipped us one day, when we called down, they brought one towel. read more
