Beautiful hotel, pool and room!
It took over 40 minutes to get extra bedding.
This hotel is a very new and beautiful hotel! There are many restaurant options in the hotel or it is easy to take the short walk to the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego. The pool was amazing, as was the gym and hot tub. The view from our room was also amazing! There were a few odd things that took away from this being the perfect hotel. First, some of the people working there were very serious and not super friendly, but still professional. Next, the room was not as clean as I would expect from this beautiful hotel. There was a cracker in one of the drawers, the mirrors were all dirty and the bell person commented that housekeeping did not stock the water like they should have. Third, we needed some extra bedding and we waited a very long time. I had to call again and remind them. We waited over 40 minutes. Very slow for a 4 star hotel. Finally, the cost was awesome, but the $21 a night parking charge for guests seems high. All of these things still were minor in comparison to the beauty of this modern and new hotel. read more

New hotel, and great common areas.
Rooms are small, no refrigerators, hotel borders homeless neighborhood.
Internet is not included and should be. Daily parking is expensive. The World's best water, sits next to complimentary coffee, tastes like tap water, and cost $4.25 a bottle, read the fine print!

Room size, comfortable beds, location and
quiet.
This is a comfortable place to stay for the business traveler. The economy is sound for the non executive level business person and the comfort level is like being at home only without the family dog. I will be staying here every time I need to visit this part of California.

Wonderful view. Great location.
Parking is expensive and there is no free parking anywhere near the hotel. Internet access is expensive - it should be free.
Location: Very good. View: Nice view in all directions. Cleanliness: Excellent - it's a new hotel. Lobby: Large and very cheerful

The bed was comfy, the food was great, and the service was fantastic.
The guy at the front desk upon check-in was a bit rude and abrupt.
The staff was really friendly, the rooms were very nice, beds comfy and bathrooms clean. We ordered room service 2 times and the food was fantastic and the service was fast. Great weekend getaway to be sure!

This Hilton is a much nicer hotel than the Hilton Gaslamp.
Would absolutely stay in this hotel again. The location is not necessarily convenient to shopping, but not that far either. A two block walk puts you in the heart of the Gaslamp District.
