Great ambiance and very close to the Plaza.
Parking is $15/day unless you are a Hilton Honors member.

This is a classic old hotel which is thoroughly up to date.

Close to downtown.
Stain on comforter, room smelled, and was not very clean.

This hotel looks good from the outside and is within walking distance to downtown. The rooms are not well taken care of, the carpet is badly in need of replacement (very dirty), the room smelled, the comforter had a stain on it and the overall experience was not good.

Location!
Pay for parking.

Hotel is located about 1.5 blocks from the beginning of shopping and sites in Santa Fe, so if you have a car it's perfect for leaving your car at the hotel and exploring. Beware there is a $15/ day parking fee that is not included in your room payment. Staff is friendly and for a Hilton, it does exhibit southwest charm, just not exudes it. Beds are much comfortable and lobby is beautiful. read more

Clean, neat, and close to local attractions.
The surprise cost of $7.50 to park my own car in an open parking lot.

The hotel was wonderful and met all of our expectations except for the surprise charge to park our own car in the open lot. I called the front office manager to see if this could be remedied. I left a voice message after several unsuccessful attempts to reach him. He never returned the call. This is not a good reflection on management.

Lobby coffee, and refreshments, and pool and hot tub.
Very loud, poorly working cooler in room that kept me awake, had to turn it off and open window, and noisy street traffic - not a good nights sleep.
