Windows need renewal.

The perfect location near to Metro station, perfect view over Shanghai, very helpful and friendly staff, great comfy beds, clean room, but most perfect was the location. Incredibly great, near to everything important and perfectly connected with the different city areas via Metro.

Great service, nice amenities, and a solid upscale rooms.
A little bit far away from may of the sights.

The service at this place was fantastic. The rooms are standard business hotel rooms, with a big flat-screen, nice bathroom, etc. They're functional, but more of a 4 star room than a full-on 5 star hotel. The only other downside is that its a few subway stops away from most of the major sights (the Bund, Peoples park, etc.) and there isn't a whole lot right around the hotel itself. All in all, though, its well worth it if you can get it for less than 100 bucks. read more

Friendly and helpful, and more importantly, efficient staff.

We got a good deal on Priceline by naming our own price. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by English speaking staff (not a very common thing even in good hotels). I requested for a room with a good view, and we were not disappointed with a room on the 18th floor with a view of the skyscrapers/Pearl TV tower. The hotel provided us with really good maps and useful info on navigating the city. Hilton is located within 10 minutes walk to West Nanjing Road subway station. While the Hilton's location is not as great as some of the other fancy hotels, I would definitely return to the Hilton in a heartbeat. read more

The service was prompt and friendly.
The room was seriously outdated.

The hotel is definitely not a 5 star hotel and should not be marketed as one. It may have been considered one back in the day but this hotel is showing its age and the rooms are not up to standard.

Tired hotel, in a seedy neighborhood. Great for single business men, but not great with family.
