Interesting historic hotel, convenient to Annapolis and the boat show.
Heating system in the window.
Nice historic hotel, close to the harbor in Annapolis, great Sunday brunch. It was exactly what we expected as we have stayed there before, staff very attentive and they drove us to a local crab restaurant for dinner and then picked us up promptly when we called.

History and culture.
Safety concerns with no door man at our building since hotel is split into 3 buildings.
Great location, it gives you a complete experience of Annapolis and the historic feel of the town.

Location.
My room key did not initially work - a pain to resolve.
This is a great location if you are touring Annapolis. There are actually 3 buildings and only one of the buildings contains the front desk staff. This can be a problem as my key did not work and I was 2 blocks from the front desk staff. Expect an older but clean and well furnished room with outdated heating and air (window unit).

Location and room (antiques).
Nothing. I really liked it.
Beautiful location right on State Circle, right across from the State Capital Building, a three block walk to the harbor/waterfront and/or to the US Naval Academy. Lovely room s filled with antiques or reproductions. Close to restaurants. Check out Chick and Ruth's Delly for fabulous crab omelets (or anything else on their menu) or the Galway Bar/Pub (right round the corner) for great Irish fare. read more

The history and location.
No tooth brush.
The hotel was amazing. The staff was first class. Also the location was perfect. My only complaint is that I forgot to pack a tooth brush and tooth paste. The hotel only directed me to a CVS. Other than that would love to stay again.

The history, the age, I loved.
Do not have refrigerator in the room.
I had a great time, the staff is very nice. It was a pleasure to stay there, in the middle of Annapolis downtown. I loved it.
