The Strater Hotel has been the centerpiece of Historic Durango since 1887. Walk into the lobby and lose a century. Memorabilia of historical significance fill display cases throughout the hotel. Atmosphere.
Bathroom fan noisy, poor sound insulation.

I like the historic atmosphere and the views from the rooms. The front desk staff were excellent but some of the other staff were unfriendly. It is a unique one of a kind place to stay.

The decor created a lovely Victorian atmosphere and the staff was friendly and helpful.
I can't think of anything that we did not like about this hotel.

The starter hotel was lovely and a welcome change from the usual. They have done everything to bring back the elegance of the Victorian era. We had a lovely time.
