The Holiday Inn - Gordon Highway, located at the intersection of I-520 (Bobby Jones Expressway) and Gordon Highway, is the nearest (3miles) full service hotel to the Main Gate of Fort Gordon Army Base. This hotel is newly renovated and offers a FREE FULL BREAKFAST BUFFET (All rates). Hotel is only one mile from the Augusta Mall with many restaurants located nearby. This property's focal point is an attractive veranda overlooking a beautiful large pool and courtyard area. Room amenities include a 25 inch color TV, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, voice mail and microwave/refrigerator. Free high speed Internet access. King Executive rooms include garden tub, separate shower and lavatory. A fitness center, complimentary newspaper delivered to room and ample at room parking available.COMPLIMENTARY 24 HR. King size room was clean, roomy, and comfortable.

I stay in this area of Augusta frequently due to business, but this is the first time I stayed at this hotel. I will be staying at this hotel more frequently in the future if I'm able to receive the same rate. It has an excellent atmosphere and the staff are great. The room I had was very clean and spacious, and the king size bed was very comfortable. The added convenience of having a mini fridge, microwave, full size ironing board, iron and wireless Internet was an added bonus. read more

liked that it was so close to the army base.
All the rooms
had exterior corridors, not safe for children.

The hotel was nice and comfortable, however, my room smelled musty. I was never able to pinpoint where it was coming from. luckily I was only staying for two nights!plus there were some really loud unruly people partying upstairs, the police actually had to come and get things under control.

Very beautiful & comfortable.
No hot tub.

The Holiday Inn was not a typical high-rise hotel, rather it was comprised of several 2 story buildings with multiple rooms in each building. The design felt very cozy & warming with great views of the beautifully landscaped pool area.

Very good complimentary breakfast.
No ESPN on cable. Totally unacceptable.

Bug in bath tub. Somewhat dingy. No restaurants nearby. Loud AC. Almost certainly would not stay at this property again.
