Hotel lobby and lobby floor are undergoing major renovation and were almost stripped bare of finish. The room was recently refurbished and comfortable.

Beds were great, as good as 5 star upscale I stayed in Boston last weekend.

The parking was free.
The water that came out of the faucet was initially brown.

Possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The water when I turned on the faucet and shower both came out brown then eventually turned clear.

The nicest in the area. I felt safe for Binghamton to pricey.
Price.

I stayed hear because of the brand and star rating. It held up its end of the deal. There was not much to choose from.

Location
Uncomfortable beds, dirty bathroom, stained towels, unresponsive staff.

After passing up other options (less pricey hotels), I was disappointed with my stay at the Holiday Inn/Binghamton. We were visiting family a few miles away, and were looking forward to our hotel retreat. The beds were uncomfortable (not what you expect from this type of hotel); Some of the towels were stained (although I don't doubt they were clean, I would expect housekeeping to discard towels with stains; There was a mat in the tub (I guess to prevent slipping), which was noticeable worn and dirty (I would have rather take my chance slipping. The worst part was that when I spoke to the hotel staff, he seemed unphased by my feedback and didn't offer to make any reparations for my inconvenience. Totally not what I expected at the Holiday Inn! read more

Leaving first thing in the morning.
Staff was the worst hotel staff I have ever encountered in my life.

Upon check-in we were told by heather, there were no double rooms, even though a representative had told us earlier in the day, via phone, that there would be. After 30 minutes of discussion, we checked the website, which showed there were in fact double rooms available. Showing this to a clerk, she miraculously found a perfectly fine double bedded room. All the staff was rude.

Upgraded and updated hotel room decor --the beds were divine - but the toliets still need work.
Business center was depressing -- too small, decor non-existant, printer old and did not work properly.

Room was very clean and shower was great!
Difficult to find (initially).

We would definitely stay here again. The hotel met all of our needs and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

clean, convenient, friendly staff, good cookies at 5 pm

pleasant, attractive and clean hotel with a fabulous pool and excellent free internet access. The reception desk was accomodating(we needed an extra bed) and helpful with finding a restaurant. Good price performance as well.

Location close to event sites.
Could be cleaner overall.

We liked the location, pool area was very nice, parking was also good. Price was right for what we were looking for also. Friendly staff.
